When I was in Ghana, we asked the kids in the Ahiavokope village a question that seems incredibly simple in America: "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Initially, the kids didn't really know how to answer the question. They live in an incredibly isolated village and they don't come across very many different trades. Jeni Lewis' has lost both her father and her niece to cancer in recent years. People fighting cancer are close to her heart, and she wanted to use how she processed her own losses, photography, to serve couples joining together to fight cancer.

I spent 2 weeks in Fukushima, Japan with a group of high school students from Liberty Christian Fellowship. We partnered with missionaries to share the gospel with Japanese students.

I took a trip to Ghana to document a school building project with an organization called Isaac's Dream. They are building a school in a village in central Ghana to help educate some under-served village and combat slavery by being an advocate for education in a society that often neglects it. Erica loves people incredibly well. Better than anyone I know. She does all of this without asking or expecting anything in return. So, when the time came to propose to her, I wanted her to know that people loved her. So for two months, I worked on sitting down with family members (without her knowing) and asking them the question: "What do you love about Erica?" Tuesday, July 8, I got her to go to a chapel and watch this video, and at the end came out and proposed. Thankfully, she said yes.
